I'm a child of the Indiana Jones movies.. between the Indiana Jones Movies, Goonies, and Star Wars you can pretty much sum up my childhood movie going experiences. I wonder what my son will remember growing up.. Harry Potter?
Connor dad and I actually sat down while I was pregnant and discussed important movies that Connor had to have growing up.. Indiana Jones ironically was the one we both screamed first. Every little kid, I don't care if your a boy or a girl, dreams of treasure and treasure hunting growing up and there is just something about the quirky humor and great adventure the Indiana Jones series has to offer. Its fun and dangerous without going over the top or going too far into those adult areas that makes it unsutiable as a family staple. Plus I think all the mom's out there will agree Harissan Ford was pretty darn yummy back in the day. My first little girl crush was actually for Indiana Jones (back before I realized movies were just actors.. lol).
Included in the Indiana Jones - The Adventure Collection is of course the three Indiana Jones movies to date : Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Plus a whole treasure trove of special features and an awesome movie introduction from Steven Spielberg and George Lucas.
Some of the new special features are pretty entertaining, I especially love the "creepy crawlies" feature which shows you how some of the animals were used on the set (aka snakes, bugs, rats, oh my). I honestly never thought of it up till now but sign me up for rat wrangling, I'm 100% sure I could handle that task.
All in all its a must have collection for either the experienced adventurer or new adventurers just starting out in their Indiana Jones viewing. I can't wait till Connor is just a bit older so he can really appreciate these movies. I know they say that DVDs are hard to "wear out" but I'll make a bet if he loves Indiana Jones as much as I do he will have the entire set memorized front to back by the time he is five.
Indiana Jones - The Adventure Collection is due to release on May 13th. You can pre-order your set right now on Amazon or with any major DVD retailer.

I have not seen Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade yet.

My hubby and I would love this. Our favorite is Raides of the Lost Ark. I have memories of watching it when I was younger, the ball rolling, jumping from stone to stone and who hasn't played pretend of the grabbing the idol thing and putting a bag in it's place? Hee, hee! We just borrowed my hubby's dad's VHS collection and we need our own! =)
I blogged about you here;

I saw the first Raiders movie 11 times in the theater! I knew every word by heart. I hope my kids like the new one as much as I liked the old one...
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade was my favorite - Harrison Ford and Sean Connery seeking the Holy Grail - HOT STUFF! Thanks for the memories - I can't wait to see Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull!

I really enjoyed Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. I liked Sean Connery playing the part of the father. I just love Harrison Ford and Sean Connery. What a great pair. Harrison Ford is hot. I can't wait until the new Indiana Jones comes out.
This is one my favorite collection of movies.

I haven't seen the movies in awhile so I have them all confused in my head, but I think I liked Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark the best. Is that the one where Indiana's dad is a main character?
The Temple of Doom one scared me as a kid. I just remember the scary sacrifice scene and the part where they're served monkey brain soup.
My husband would love it if I won this set. He's a fan of this type of movie.

I really liked Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade the most. I think I was old enough to really appreciate it compared to the earlier ones. I especially loved watched the chemistry between Sean Connery and Harrison Ford - they were a hoot to watch.
We've been looking forward to this! I can't remember which movie it was, but my husband loves the part where he is over a pit and says "Why did it have to be snakes?"
It has definetly been awhile since I have seen these movies. If I remember right, my fav was Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. I think it was the one with the scene where they are running from the boulder, that's my fav scene.

Thanks for the great giveaways! This one is really a blast from the past!
I'm so excited about this set! I loved them all as a kid but Raiders of the Lost Ark was my favorite. I love the combination of adventure, romance, & creepy crawlies that leave you with nightmares.

My favorite is Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade followed closely by the original film.
I have a "contact me" form on my blog so I'm easy to find. :)
BTW, I saw your post via your RSS feed.
The last crusade - all due to Sean connery=)
subscribed to the feed=)
I liked Raiders of the Lost Ark. It was just a great adventure story. Really one of a kind back then. And of course it introduced me to Harrison Ford, who is so great in all the Indiana Jones movies. Its been many, many years since I have seen them. I cant wait to watch them again and then check out this new one coming out soon.
Nothing is better than sitting with the whole family, eating popcorn & watching an exciting movie!! Indiana Jones sure fits the bill, I'd love to win. Thanks for a great giveaway!
My favorite is Raiders of the Lost Ark. I saw it in the theatres the year it came out.
I can hardly wait for the new one. Pity Sean Connery retired, he would have been the cherry on top.
Triva Time
What 80's TV star had to turn down the role of Indiana Jones because he was committed to a TV show?
My favorite was the last crusade. Ford and Connery had such great chemistry as father and son. It also had the best plot line of the three.
I loved the little kid in Temple of Doom!
temple of doom love the non stop action
I think Raiders set the scene for all to follow. But I love the references, flashbacks-forwards-asides with nods to the other movies. Besides, I really need this set. An ex-girlfriend "gave" me the set for xmas a few years ago. When we broke up, she made sure to get all of her stuff from my place but wouldn't let me get my stuff from her.
I want to see Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom... I saw the other movies, but I don't remember seeing this one. I can't wait for the newest one to come to the theaters!
ticole96(at)msn(dot)com
My favorite is still the original "Raiders of the Lost Ark".
shame on me because if i have seen them i don't remember watching them?? so, i would love to see any of them especially after seeing the Indiana Jones show at Hollywood Studios a couple of monthes ago!! thanks so much!!

I liked Raiders of the Lost Ark the best. I was only six when it came out and it was at that point the best movie I had ever seen.
The "Last Crusade" is my favorite.
But, I must say that I saw "Temple Of Doom" 5 Times!
Raiders of the the Lost Ark is still my favorite.
This is tough! I love Raiders because it was so fresh with the special effects. I love Temple for the interaction between Indie & Short Round. And I love Last Crusade because of Sean Connery. Please don't make me choose! They are all movies I can watch again & again.
My favorite is Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. I did see "Temple of Doom" 5 Times though in the summer of 1984.
Hello! What a fantastic DVD collection you are sponsoring for this giveaway. I like the movies, but my husband loves them! What a great Father's Day gift, if I could resist not giving them to him sooner. Our favorite of the three is "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade!" Sean Connery was very good cast in the role of Indiana's dad! He added wit and humor the the story line. Please enter me in your drawing. Much appreciated.....Cindi

My favorite is Raiders of the Lost Ark. thank you
The first is always the best. It was so different and Harrison Ford was oh so hot.

I didn't need to click on the link to tell you my favorite indi movie, but I did just to check it out! Raiders of the lost arc, all the way!! Add top gun to your list of movies, and you've summed up my childhood in movies as well. And indiana jones was especially important, as they were my brothers absolute favorite (I think they still are!). Very fun giveaway, thanks! laurachilton {at} hotmail {dot} com
I like them all but Raides of the Lost Ark would be my fav. As in all the films I like them for the same reasons fun story plots and good humor throughout.
Thank you for the great giveaway!
themonkinme(at)gmail(dot)com
I haven't seen any of them yet but the Raiders of the Lost Ark sounds interesting!
Still think the first one is the best, Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. My family loves all of these movies.

i'm a die hard original with Raiders of the lost Ark...Harrison ford is yummy in all of them!
Oohhh.. I have to pick one??!! I guess it would be between Temple of Doom and Last Crusade... Shortround from Temple of Doom added just the right amount of humor amidst all of the drama. I loved the interaction between Indy and his dad in the last one...
This series is also one of those must-see movies for my kids!
nothing beats Raiders, it was frentic, funny and full of action.
Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark was my favorite.
EEEEEE!!! Big Indie fan, big! I even have a parrot named Indie. Harrison Ford? I adore him. I love the first movie the best, probably because you get all the initial excitement of experiencing snakes and giant rolling rocks for the first time. If I was a guy, I'd be Indie. I'd get me one of those hats, a whip, and cool shirts with lots of extra pockets. And I'd get me a cute little sidekick too. themommyspot(at)gmail(dot)com
i still love the first indiana jones. what a romance story but not a chick flick
Temple of Doom. The pace was so fast.
My favorite is the Raiders of the Lost Arc. This movie is filled with such action. Even my kids love watching this over and over. I haven't seen any of the others yet, but I'm sure by reading all this comments, that they all just as great.
Thanks for this giveaway.
I loved Indiana jones and the temple of doom with that little kid . He made me laugh. I love all the series.

Gotta go with Raiders, mainly because our principal showed it to us when I was maybe in 3rd grade (he claimed later he'd forgotten how graphic it was). Up to that point, the scariest thing I'd ever seen was "Wizard of Oz," so I was pretty freaked out with the big guy got chopped up by the airplane propeller, and everyone got their faces melted off. I think I had nightmares from it, but it sure made an impression.
jodi_nh at hotmail dot com
So many great bits to choose from--running from the boulder, Indy shooting the swordsman, the mine chase...But my favorite has to Last Crusade. There are tons of fun action bits in all of them, but the hilarious interaction between Indy and his father make this one stand out.
Wow! Can you believe that I have never seen one of the Indiana Jones movies, and now, my kids and husband are raving over the new Crystal Skull movie about ready to come out. I could sure use this to get myself up to speed
I loved Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. It had something in it for everybody in the family. Snakes, bugs, suspense, a little romance, humor...I would love to have it on DVD.
cathyandharold[at]verizon[dot]net
VERY cool! I mostly remember watcing Raiders of the Lost Ark. My stepdad's sister had a huge projection TV and those old BETA players. I can still remember sitting in their living room, eating pizza and getting the biggest crush on Indiana Jones!!!
I subscribed to your feed too! :-)
It's been a while since I've seen the Indiana Jones movies, but I'd have to say I liked The Last Crusade because of Sean Connery.

Oh my God!! I love Indy!! I have blogged ya here

Sorry I'm so excited I am not following the rules!! Our house favorite is Raiders of the Lost Ark!
the 3rd film was best, the father/son dynamic gave it some depth
My favorite was the first one. I loved the snake pit scene. And Harrison Ford was young and good looking back then.
My favorite Indiana Jones movie is The last crusade. I like that it starts when he was young and goes through his whole life, kind of fast, but his life is very interesting, and there's a lot of action all the way through the movie, I can't wait to see the new movie that just came out The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and I would love to see the series, Thanks for the chance to win.

I havn't seen these since I was really little. The only thing I remember what a little boy walking on crunchy things saying "These feel like fortune cookies" or something and it was bugs. I don't even remember which movie that was, in fact, I'm not 100% certain it was Indiana Jones, but I'm pretty sure. Temple of Doom sounds the most exciting of the three.
Love 'em all, but probably Raiders of the Lost Ark is my favorite. Can't wait for the new one.
Raiders of the Lost Ark is my favorite. It's probably the most exciting and action-packed of them all. I can't wait to see it again in this collection!
Raiders of the Lost Ark -It was the first one I saw and one that I enjoy the most watching with my kids. THANKS
Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade was my all time fav.. These movies are priceless, will last forever to all generations.. dpage00@hotmail.com
I have seen them all several times, but, Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, will always be my favorite. Looking forward to the new one this summer.
The Temple of Doom when Indy drinks the black goo and the kid helps save the damsel in distress.
My favorite is Raides of the Lost Ark, I like the action.
The Last Crusade
Gotta be Raiders Of The Lost Ark!!
The Temple of Doom. We still like to watch that one.
I haven't really seen these so I'd love to start w/ the first!
The original. Isn't that one always the best?!
The first (whichever that was) since it was fresh and new, the others were fun to watch too.
I've never seen The Last Crusade, so that's my pick.
I would like to watch Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
natatheangel at yahoo dot com
Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark is my favorite.
I remember it as a very exciting adventure.
have not seen indiana jones and the last crusade yet .
well I loved all three but if I had to choose just one I would say Raiders of the Last Ark! It jump started my crush on Harrison Ford aka Indiana Jones and had me wishing for a real life Indiana Jones to enter my life and take me on a wild adventure!
Ohhhh I don't know which one/s I haven't seen! It's been a while! lol Gotcha in my sidebar!
I've never seen them so I guess I'd like to see the first one and follow from there so I'll understand the movies better. BTW my hubby would adore me even more if I won this :)
I loved ALL Indiana Jones movies - but I think the first was my favorite. Just loved all those "puzzles" he had to solve. Thanks!
guill888 at yahoo dot com
Last Crusade, Sean Connery need I say more!
I like Indiana Jones and the Temploe of Doom best!
jack4713@hotmail.com loved the scene where Indy shot the guy with the sword who thought Indy only had his whip
Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark-- is the one I'd most like to see...I have never seen any of them. Thanks for the chance to win!
Raiders of the Lost Ark. The first movies are generally the best cause you are taken in by the characters and story for the first time
I like 'Raiders of the Lost Ark'. Thats the one we always watched when I was little. Great giveaway, thanks!
Blogged you:

Thanks again!
I know it is awful...I saw these once maybe as a kid, but don't really remember them. I think I'd most look forward to Raiders of The Lost Ark as that is the one I seem to have some memory of. I'd really love to win this as it is an absolute FAVORITE of my husband. It would be a perfect Father's Day gift for him!
arbrashears(at)msn(dot)com
TEMPLE OF DOOM! Who can resist evil heart steeling cults, a scrappy sidekick, fast paced slap-stick romance, and SHEEP'S EYES & A MILLION BUGS!
I liked Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, especially these scene at the end where the ark is in the warehouse.
My favorite is the first one because it is what started a great series of sequels.
partymix25(at)hotmail(dot)com
I have seen bits and pieces of the movies, but never the entire thing. My wife use to watch it with her dad all the time before he passed away..so I thought it would be fun for her and a new experience for me!! My email is something_spiffy[AT]yahoo[DOT]com. My site is www.drumbyfaith.com
Loved the Last Crusade. The chemistry between Harrison Ford and Sean Connery was great.
I love all of em cant wait to see the new one hope it wont ruin the image of the older ones.
raders of the lost arit i love all his moves
Raiders of the Lost Ark is the only one I've seen & it's been about a million years ago!
Raiders of the Lost Ark is the best; there can be no debate about this.
Oh, gosh, hubby and I were just talking about it the other day! Haha! I love The Temple of Doom - it used to totally gross out but intrigue my sister and I. And we were totally watching intently through the fingers that were SUPPOSED to be covering our eyes. :)
I'm ashamed :/ I've never seen Indiana Jones before. My best friend loves IJ and she keeps talking about the new one that's going to be in movie theaters. So If I win this I want to watch them with my best friend. So I'd most like to see Raiders of the Lost Ark to start because that's the 1st one right?

I love the Temple of Doom!
The last crusade
I have seen all of these movies about a million times and love them all. I think it was in Temple of Doom where Indiana sits at the table with the guests eating monkey brains. I always thought that was so gross but cool when I was a kid.
emilymae33@hotmail.com
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is my favorite. I love the funny bits with Sean Connery and the interaction between father and son.
claireroach81(at)hotmail(dot)com
Raiders of the Lost Ark is my favorite. The classic scenes in it that have become standard action for others since and Karen Allen!
Raiders of the lost ark is actually the first date movie I saw with my first boyfriend so I always have a special place for it.
Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, has always been my favorite.
Raiders of the Lost Ark, even the though the faces melting in the end traumatized me as a child. Of course the best thing about it is Harrison, duh.
krisindam at mac dot com
As a child I was terrified of the scene at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark where the bad guy's faces all melt off when they open the Ark. And I always loved that goofy kid in Temple of Doom...or was he in Raiders too?
The Last Crusade is my favorite because it's the only one I remember going to see in the theater-- but I remember it very clearly, especially that crazy scene where the dude drinks the wrong cup. We love these movies and hope our sons enjoys them, too, (when he's older, of course!)
I loved Raiders the best, but I loved them all as a kid.
This is pathetic, but I haven't ever seen Indiana Jones movies. I think I was way sheltered as a child! Raiders of the Lost Ark sounds like a good one though (my husband says so anyway).
Admittadly I don't have a favorite, I'm not an "action movie" fan but I have three little boys that LOVE Indiana Jones and can't wait for the new movie. I think there favorite is the first one? I honestly don't know the order.
