Forget OUR baby... with my oldest, I told him it was HIS baby... and it worked so well. When my daughter came, it was the same thing... I totally focused on it being THEIR baby... and how proud we were that that they were going to be big brothers (especially the younger one, who would be more jealous) I think it’s a good idea to wait until you’re far enough along that the risk of miscarriage is lowered… after 12wks… that way they don’t have to go through it if it happens.
