wait until your shower!! I wish I never wasted money on things, my husbands family hooked me up! and I couldnt return all the stuff that I got before hand…

I couldnt wait, I started to buy things straight away. Looking back now, i wouldnt do it again cause alot of the sizes were wrong.
I am preg with number 2 now (8weeks) and i have already started to buy nappies. I used 4 boxes of huggies newborn (108 in each box) and 6 boxes of crawlers for number 1. I plan on having 4x newborn and 6xcrawlers ready and waiting for number 2!

I stocked up on wipes as well.

You can never buy things to early, I found out! My daughter came close to 6 months into the pregnancy..and we only had a few things! By time she was released from the hospital months later we had it all ;) . We didn’t start buying things till after the 20th week- the chances of miscarriage are lower and if they have to a baby after 20wks can survive- with lots of intense medical care, as we found out!

So of course after the 20th mark we went out and got some newborn stuff- we hadn’t had my shower for that matter we didn’t have one at all since she arrived so early and everything was hectic. We were planning on getting the crib in the 8th month but she came early and we were told that we could expect her to be there at least till her original due date or a month after that. So we got the bed about a month after her birth.

When she came home though she lacked nothing, she had everything she needed! Lots of onesies- both preemie/ newborn onesies/clothing and a bassinet- we got that the week we found out she was coming home and other stuff.

And sorry don’t have the arms reach co sleeper, you might find reviews/feed back on it on websites that sell the product, I sometimes read both the Walmart, Toys-rus- and other places reviews before getting one.

i did not buy much at the beginning just a few little outifts i found super cute or whatever…my hubby bought the crib and changer when I was 6mths,……but I would say wait until you have a baby shower that way people can buy you stuff, or else whats the point of the shower, and then you’ll have to many things of one and what if you cant return..if you find something super cheap like a great deal then get it especially if its a stroller/carseat set, crib or stuff like that. and once the shower has happened then buy what you still need…you can never go wrong with buying too many wipees thats for sure..

my sister-n-law had her baby 1mth ago and when she had her son she did not have ANYTHING, and for that matter did not know what many of the things for babies are..when we went to visit at the hospital me and my hubby had to go buy a stroller and carseat for her cause she did not have one to take baby home, she still does not have a crib for him, didnt have wipees, blankets, clothes onesies etc… (she got married in august and was already 5-6mths preg and did not want anyone to know she had a baby or was preg so she did not have a babyshower, that is why she did not have many stuff or much at all…baby is still a secret)…so be sure to get stuff you will need for sure before babys arrival

congrats on your pregnancy and best of luck
