What is the best purchase you ever made for your baby (ie. baby gear, accessory, miracle worker, )?
I’m opening a baby boutique, not a supply store, just a boutique with gear, bedding, clothing, accessories, strollers, high chairs, books…just basic needs…
I’m wanting to know your favorite accessory, gear, anything that that was a miracle worker for you or something you just loved/love…or even your favorite brands (not Target, or WalMart unless its gear)…what was your best purchase for your baby, a brief description of it and why you loved it so much…let me know! I appreciate all of your answers!

Clothes.
Adjustable baby sling, the brand is ‘Over the Shoulder Baby Holder’. It can be worn many ways and it works for babies and toddlers. I’ve had it with three kids and it is a life saver!
The other thing I can’t live without is my umbrella stroller. I LOVE IT!
Her BOUNCER! lol The vibrating just keeps her asleep and she doesn’t get to hot in it.
the boppy vibrating and song chair it’s all reclined and she sits in it all the time lol. we use that every day its such a life saver. i want to get the swing one next i bet she’ll love that one.
Pack n’ play with the sleeper and changing table. Love it. Just pack it up and you have a crib wherever you are. Love Love Love it.
when she was a newborn to infant it was the bouncer and swing, the motions and vibrations made her go to sleep instantly now as a toddler i never leave home without her favorite blanky and its just a plain blanket but its colorful and VERY soft and plush, when she is tired she loves to rub it on her face to fall asleep. she has even fallen asleep in a shopping cart with her blanket as a pillow! lol I sure do love that blanket!haha
My Boppy and Pack N Play. I don’t know what I’d do without either one! I get so aggravated when I forget to bring the Boppy with me to visit family. Once you’ve used one it’s a totally different experience to breastfeed without it! Also, nipple shields for breastfeeding! I wouldn’t have been able to breastfeed without these.
OMG if I didn’t have the Boppy pillow… I would cry… a lot!
I really like the dresser-top changing table I got from Land of Nod (not sure if they are the only ones who make it). It is just a little wood frame for the changing pad, and you screw it to the back of any dresser to secure it. I turned my dresser into a changing table and it is much more stable than the changing table I used to use.
I also like the Sara Bear Diaper Caddy.
My Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bag. I actually have 3 (I’m addicted)- one’s a shoulder bag (got that as a gift), one’s a touring tote, and one’s a toddler tote. They’re SUPER functional, extremely cute and make me feel toting my son’s supplies around. They’re perfect for boutiques.
Otherwise, there are so many other things that are just great purchases they we have found. Bib clips-cute (and safe) pacifiers- adorable clothes that are unique- natural baby toys- and of course- fabulous blankets. My son loves his smaller security blankets. We have Little Giraffe and My Blankee. They’re affordable as cute gifts (at least the smaller ones)- and we now have 5 of them because my son can fall asleep well for naps when we are out holding one.
Cloth photo albums – so baby can have their own indestructible photo album- they LOVE looking at themselves.
There a million other awesome baby items out there- unique sippy cups, shoes- for example, I dont’ see many See Kai Run shoes in stores- and they are always out of my son’s size at Nordstrom. I found a pair in a boutique last week and bought them. I never would have ordered them online- simply because I had already seen them online and the picture didn’t do them justice. I loved them much more in person.
Books are always great, too!!
Until now there are several things I cant seem to be without, but the one that really sticks in my mind was the mirror that mounts to the backseat so you can see your baby in the rearview mirror. This one had to take the cake with me. I was always freaking out while I was driving wondering what he was doing, or if he was choking, or if his head was falling… etc etc etc… I spent 20 bucks and that was one of the best investments I ever made. He is 9 months and I still use it everyday. Its the one that comes with a remote so you can control music and lights from the front, its really great. I highly recommend carrying this item, every baby shower I go to this is the gift they get. No complaints so far.
I would go crazy without a white noise machine. They are a life saver! My baby loves the ocean and rain sounds.
those special sanitizer bottle washers that go in the microwave! im not sure what they are called, but i bought one about a month and a half ago, and i love it, it take SO much less time then boiling.. yeah… oh.. and i don’t know what i’d do if Isabel didn’t have an exasauser! its perfect for when we watch a movie… and she just loves it!
dr browns formula pitcher, mixes with no shaking, no bubbles or foam and holds 24hrs worth…
