The reason for not just throwing treats in the bed is Jane is free shaping Ruby, Ruby is learning this move for long term memory installation and will add this to her repertoire of behaviours to offer Jane in the future!
Jane nice video, love your book, my 3 bullies love your book, so please come to England soon for a seminar ;)

The poor dog was ready to get in her bed at about 30 seconds in but any dog is going to stop for a snack! If this is supposed to show dog training skill then I’m Cesar Milan.

    wow, I can’t believe you’re on YouTube! :D
I’m from Norway, I got your book today and once I started reading it I just couldn’t stop! I love your way of training dogs, and I can’t wait to test it out on my Bulldog. She’s very well behaved so in a way she doesn’t need to be trained, but I figure she’s a bit bored and some training exercises might be good for her, and then we’ll get to do something fun together. Also, your Bull Terriers are absolutely beautiful – I dream of owning one one day :)
