We had the tiger tested one, yeah, our Golden Killed it….$30 down the drain. I’m sticking with Kong!!
Not a real test – tossing and shaking do – what? Dang little!
Send me one to give it to my American Bulldog/Pit Bull mix and we’ll see how it holds up. She’s a power chewer! My now deceased Mastiff mix was the Queen of power chewers! Ate multiple ‘tear resistant, chew proof’ dog beds.
I agree – my Mastiff mix killed every toy, every dog bed, every rug.
She ate the ‘indestructable’ type. Went through a hoofie in one evening.
Oh Puh-Lease – running over a flat toy will do nothing to it. Smacking a piece of fabric in the same place over and over might break a few fibers. Tossing it about won’t.
No Kidding! LOL
There are few toys that can hold up as long in a tug o war, as an old sock can, and they are free & plentful around here! (grin)
I agree, those tests are not so harsh on the toy. Of course hitting a flat piece of fabric with a hammer will do nothing to the toy, neither will putting a car over it.
It is not about how much weight can it take over it but how much can the sewing and the fabric take before the dog’s fangs tear it apart.
Some serious tug-o-war between two dogs (or three in my case) would be better to test the quality of the product.
I will bet you, that my Malamute, “Timber Six-Toes” and “Harley” my Pit/Lab mix would have that toy distroyed in a day! LOL
Now a good test, would be to have two dogs playing with it at the same time; you know, the pull test! (grin)
