Best stuffing to use for a dog bed?
I want to make a couple dog beds but I don’t know what type of filling to use. I want something that will retain it’s shape after a lot of use and washing. What would be the best?

Regular nylon batting from a fabric store will work best. Cedar chips can trigger allergic reactions. The best beds have an inner lining that is water resistant that contains the batting and an outer zippered fabric cover that is removed for washing.
Are you trying to make a dog bed for large dogs?
If you are, then you may be better off going to a place like Walmart and buying a cheap crib mattress.. They’re about $35.
Then just make zip-on covers for it..
It’ll still be cheaper then buying a dog bed and will hold it’s shape a lot better then any stuffing material you can buy..
