All of a sudden my dog cries when we put him to bed at night?
For the last 2 weeks, every time I put my dog to bed to sleep he just cries and cries and cries. I don’t know why. He was fine for months. We bought him a new crate recently but he was fine in it for a week or so….What could be the problem?
It could be boredom. Don’t give in to him, or you will end up with him in your bed every night. Does he have a blanket or pillow in the crate? If not that may help, along with something with your scent on it.
You could try getting him a Kong toy (the red round funny looking toys). I take treats, peanut butter or yogurt and stuff the Kong, then freeze it. My dog loves it, and it takes him a while to get through. He will do anything for peanut butter.

You basically have to crate train her properly. She still feels like, that you are basically ignoring her, and locking her up.

HI,My dog used to cry alot too.i used my old knit jumper with an old ticking clock wrapped inside it ,to trick my dog into thinking she’s not alone.worked a treat for me.u could try also some music or the tv leaving them on to comfort and keep dog occupied and to help dog forget where his sleeping.
