If your dogs likes it and you don’t mind, why not? My dogs Charming and Lily don’t even have dog beds.

    lol
    its perfectly fine

Yes that’s okay. Dogs will find unusual places to sleep. Forget fancy dog beds in petco.. your mattress will do just fine.

yeah thats okay! it would be like a dog sleeping in your bed. i do that.2 mattresses would be could as long as it is not to tall. then your dog couldnt get up there!!

Yup! Even 1 mattress would be fine. 1 bed is better then no bed!
Though, isn’t is a little big for your small dog? :P

Edit – Clucks!?!? Haha ROFL! Oh, mini eh?

    lol its perfectly fine
some dogs though have bad hips so if you have a hard mattress or if its to high thats not to good
but i have a fluffy bed and i sleep with my dog every night and he likes it better then his doggy bed lol

Sure, just make sure they don’t chew through them to the metal, can hurt their mouths if they do.
My dogs sleep on duvets as they have a tendency to rip dog beds to pieces… i got the hint after 5 of them being destroyed. I have never had a duvet ripped though.
Just cover it in some plastic sheets and doggy blankets so it will last longer and make it a bit more comfortable.

Ah, just as well it’s a mini mattress, though it has to be said I used a full size single mattress as a dog bed after my Dobermann had surgery.

Yes, it’s fine for a dog bed, as long as you check it to ensure none of the springs are poking through which could injure the dog.
