I swear my Australian Cattle Dog loves his tail more than anything, and I’m glad his tail wasn’t docked. He paddles with it while swimming, he turns with it, walks with it, cuddles with it…more than any other dog and its insanely noticeable how much he uses it.
Technically people keep docking the tails when in the breed standard, it’s not allowed. I had a friend buy one for showing and she was told her dog was disqualified due to the docked tail. Wasted her time training the dog for showing! They’re not Austrailian shepherds, people!
