Please help, Is the XXL size Kong dog toy too big for a collie?

I bought my friends dog a Kongs dog toy, i was told too get the size above recommended and the recommended is L/XL. The toy is about 15cm in height and 9cm in width. Is that alright for an adult male Collie? I don’t want to waste my money. Fully aware i’ve posted this question [...]
