He isn’t saying anything bad about it, I can just tell it annoys him.
I showed hubbie the baby clothes I had bought at a really great price (sale at a huge thrift store) and he kind of rolled his eyes. I think he is getting annoyed at the baby stuff I am buying? The problem is though that I only have about 2 more months to get everything, since at that point I’ll be on bedrest (doctor’s orders) and we will only have about 2/3 the income we do now.

Anyone else’s significant other seemed annoyed at the buying of necessary baby gear? The things I am buying are bassinet, clothes like onsies and sleepers, and a stroller / car seats.

It is a lot of stuff, but its twins, and I am really only getting the necessities. The necessary clothes are adorable though.

I guess my main question is clothing. Clothes to cover up exposed skin versus long sleeve clothing being to heavy and cause heat irritability. This is my first child and I’m sure I’m being a bit neurotic ^-^ . I just don’t want him exposed to the sun but Ialso don’t want him getting over heated. A helpful suggestion from my family was to take a blow up baby pool to thebeach and fill it with water under a umbrella/canopy.

im good with kids and have a lot of patience with them….i work with them everyday and have for the past few yrs… if i stop putting it together i cool off and i can go back later and try but saying that i wont be a good mom or that im an immature brat because i get mad is rediculous i grew up in a very large family and have been around babies most of my life!

I have been searching for months now! I’m not a big fan of the Winnie the Pooh collections and all the Graco (as well as other big name brands) seem to be either specifically aimed towards girls (princess themes, all pink, etc) or gender neutral. And even the gender neutral ones almost all have some kind of flower pattern. My fiance is extremely masculine and is so excited to be having a little boy, but he really wants the products to be boy-ish.

All I am looking for is a playard (preferably the kind with a changing table/bassinet attachment) and a matching travel system (stroller and car seat).

I swear I am not being lazy and relying on other people to search for me. I have looked in stores and online! I finally found one that I LOVED (it was PERFECT), and it was of course out of stock and now totally gone from all websites. That’s my luck.

The price, at this point, is just no longer a worry because I am so desperate to find one I like. As long as it’s under 400ish for both. Anything more than that would be ridiculous!

Oh, if you have recently bought or seen one which is actually neutral and not leaning towards girly, I would love that as well. At this point, I’m so desperate I’m about to buy the Graco Disney Princess collection! (joke)

Thank you so much for all your help! My little one is due July 10th!
Thanks for the suggestions so far! I have considered the Nouvelle from Graco as two of you suggested (fiance insists it looks slightly girly but I may just put my foot down and get it).

I loved the Eddie Bauer one “Alex” but it was out of stock! Way to tease me!

I like the safari one but it just doesn’t quite have all the extras I’d prefer and some reviews say it falls apart.

I guess my biggest problem is finding ones that match! I would really like a matching set for the two items. *sigh*

I have the worst luck! Well thanks for all your help. I’m gonna keep looking and pick a best answer soon. <3

Do you prefere a crib over a pack and play?

Do you look for the more expensive strollers or travel systems or do you look for the bargain buy?

Do you buy the cheapest swing and bouncer you can find, or do you buy the ones you actually want?

Do you buy everything in ‘boy’ or ‘girl’ colors or do you look for the best deals?

Some moms i know spend top dollar on everything, some moms i know spend as little as possible. Me and my girlfriend have different opinions about this subject. She like everything to be top quality and matching as best as it can, I would rather try and find the best deals. Is there a big difference? We bought our pink travel system from babiesrus. I saw similar ones at walmart and target for like $100 less. She would not even consider them because they ‘look cheap’. do you think so? and what do you have? do you insist on the higher quality version or do you appreciate the lower cost of the slightly cheaper versions?
How come no one has an opinion?
