All of my family and friends live about 6 hours away and no one’s mentioned a baby shower. Can I still register in hopes that someone will help me out?

I am due in early February and I’m thinking my baby shower will probably be in January sometime. I don’t know when to register for the baby gifts. I don’t want to wait too long but also don’t want to do it too early. Any ideas? (I’m 25 weeks right now) THANKS!!

I was wondering if the mother to be goes herself to register for baby gifts or does the man usually go with you to do that stuff? I know there is no rule onthis i am trying to find out if the man typically goes for this stuff with you ?

I’m probably going to do Babies R Us. I would like to do another either Target or Walmart. Normally I’m a Target shopper but the prices at Walmart are a bit cheaper…any thoughts?
