I’m 21 weeks! I remember being pregnant at 6-10 weeks and feeling what I thought was a lack of symptoms. What I learned is that there is no stereotypical pregnancy– every pregnancy is different. Lucky for me, I had virtually no first trimester symptoms. That has definitely changed now! i’m just past the halfway mark, and am looking forward to not being pregnant and meeting my little Milo! Topics include recycled baby gear, thoughts on pre-natal vitamins, weight gain, maternity jeans, a bellly shot, weight gain, back pain, sleeping, headaches, day care and more!

I think hubbie is annoyed I’m buying baby clothes and gear? (15 weeks with twins)?

He isn’t saying anything bad about it, I can just tell it annoys him.
I showed hubbie the baby clothes I had bought at a really great price (sale at a huge thrift store) and he kind of rolled his eyes. I think he is getting annoyed at the baby stuff I am buying? The problem is though that I only have about 2 more months to get everything, since at that point I’ll be on bedrest (doctor’s orders) and we will only have about 2/3 the income we do now.

Anyone else’s significant other seemed annoyed at the buying of necessary baby gear? The things I am buying are bassinet, clothes like onsies and sleepers, and a stroller / car seats.

It is a lot of stuff, but its twins, and I am really only getting the necessities. The necessary clothes are adorable though.

I know breast milk & diapers are a given.
But I’m talking Baby gear…
I go to the store to look at what I might need, But I keep thinking, “how much can a newborn reeeally NEED?”.

I am 30 weeks pregnant due January 27, 2010… should I buy baby gear now or wait?

I want to be prepared for when baby comes but is it too early to buy the stroller, car seat, crib, etc.? Some say it is bad luck to purchase these things now… others say I should wait I will lose focus on work sitting there trying to assemble everything before hand.. but my thing is what if I have a premature delivery… I know my mother and fiance are here but I also want to have some say in what is purchased and don’t want everything to be bought in a rush
